| BALANCE OF JUDGEMENT LOOT SYSTEM | | | | | RAID LOOT LIST SYSTEM
The guild uses a modified version of the Suicide Kings Loot List system. The key principles are as follows...
- When loot drops, people bid for it. Their bid is the number of points they are willing to pay for the item.
- Bidding is 'open', i.e. everyone sees everyone else's bid, and people can re-bid until no-one is prepared to bid any higher.
- The winner is the player who bids the most points. They immediately lose that number of points.
- One can bid the same as someone else. If neither person is willing or able to bid any higher, they roll for it.
- Everyone gains one point when a boss is killed (even those not on the raid).
- The maximum number of points a person can accumulate is 20.
- A player's maximum bid is their total number of points.
- Minimum bid is 6 points, or a person's total points, whichever is less.
- People can bid any amount (up to their maximum) - bidding does not have to be in increments of 1.
- New players or guests start with 10 points.
- The points table will be permanently displayed on the website homepage on the right-hand side (underneath the chat box).
- People failing to show up on time to a raid with no prior warning or apology will be penalised in the following way...
- First offence - Lose 10 points. Frozen (i.e. cannot move up the list or bid for loot) until next raid.
- Second offence - Lose 20 points. Frozen (i.e. cannot move up the list or bid for loot) until next raid.
- Third offence - Frozen and banned from raiding pending officer discussion.
- Where guests or friends are invited who are not members of BoJ or any of the allied guilds, the above loot system will generally still be used, but the Raid Leader does have the prerogative to decide instead that everyone will just roll for loot (e.g. if we have several guests). Whichever approach is adopted for a particular raid, the critical point is that everyone must have the loot policy communicated to them beforehand and must accept it if they wish to attend the raid.
